Grain-sack Bundles

Vintage grain-sack pieces  from authentic european grain-sack or feeder sack. They are perfect for boro inspired arts such as patchwork, visible mending and slow stitching.

All pieces are used but clean and have their own character including fading, creases and threads from hems, tiny holes from previous seams and similar signs of wear. A couple are crisp from age, while some are supple. Textiles may include hemp, linen and cotton.

Contains 6- 7 different pieces. Each pack is slightly different but contains approximately the same amount of fabric- approx 200- 250grams.

Comes in bundles of the following colours:

Red stripe, camel stripe, black stripe, blue stripe, mixed bundle.

Each unique bundle is constructed by Textile Artist Elizabeth Knowles at her VSU Atelier, Tauranga , New Zealand.
